Description
The extraordinary Boker Supernova Damascus chef’s knife outshines everything that has gone before and, supplied with its unique handle and classy damascus blade, enters completely new culinary spheres. The galactic extravagance not only makes the chef’s knife an exclusive collector’s item, but also guarantees outstanding performance for all cutting tasks in the kitchen. The hand-forged, stainless damascus not only features a breathtaking pattern, but also impresses with its high toughness and hardness (60 HRC). The forged split piece of 150 layers of damascus is heated to red heat by us in Solingen and hammered into its beautiful shape by a two-ton drop hammer.
The handle of this impressive chef’s knife is reminiscent of the fascinating clouds of stardust that remain after a supernova and owes its radiance to the stabilisation of local horse chestnut wood with richly coloured resins. Limited to only 20 pieces worldwide, the chef’s knife is supplied with an individual serial number in a leather-covered gift box and a certificate of authenticity. Handmade in the Boker Knife Manufactory in Solingen.
The chef’s knife is one of the most important knives in the kitchen and is part of the standard basic equipment. It has a slightly wider and longer blade than the all-purpose knife. The slender tip is excellent for cutting onions or small vegetables. Thanks to its length, it can also be used as a meat knife. It can also be used to cut large vegetables without any problems.
